On Friday, June 10, 2022 FCIDC completed the purchase of the property in Enosburg Falls known as the Perley Block. Located on Main Street in the heart of the village, this multi-use property is a strategic piece of Enosburgh’s overall revitalization plan.
The first floor, having housed a variety of retail ventures, has been vacant for several years. FCIDC plans to convert the existing space into smaller, boutique-style retail spaces and into office space that will house Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union (FNESU). FNESU is expected to move into its new space in September 2022.
The second floor will continue to house its current mix of 1- and 2-bedroom apartments. There are no plans to renovate the third floor at this time.
FCIDC would like to thank those who have worked to move the project forward to this point: Charles Mraz, the previous owner, the Town of Enosburgh, the Village of Enosburg Falls, Franklin Northeast Supervisory Union, and the residents who have seen what this project can mean to Enosburgh.
This project is part of FCIDC’s commitment to support communities in the region as part of its newly adopted mission to act as a catalyst for regional economic progress through a community approach.
