Watershed Coaching is pleased to announce that it is accepting applications from established female leaders living or working in Franklin or Grand Isle counties for their fifteenth Women’s Leadership Circle of Vermont (WLC), a program for female leaders to hone their leadership skills, evolve their businesses, and expand their professional networks.
Each circle forms for six months in one county or region, offering participants the opportunity to strengthen her professional skills in connection with her community. Kerry structures and leads the first six months of meetings and then supports their transition to a self-led group. Kerry remains awed at the power of these groups, “The Women’s Leadership Circles program expands the capacity of Vermont women to have broad-ranging impact in their communities. In doing so, these women strengthen their businesses and communities, helping all Vermonters. I am honored to know such an amazing group of leaders, and look forward to meeting more women as we expand the WLC program to all corners of Vermont.”
WLC is intentionally cross-sector, bringing women leaders from different sectors together for cross-pollination of ideas. Participants gain leadership skills and personal insights that benefit their personal and professional lives, and a cohort of other female leaders who can support them going forward. “The professional support we give each other is unparalleled to anything I’ve ever been a part of” said Jerelyn Wilson, co-owner of Building Green in Brattleboro. “It’s built on a kind of listening we’ve developed with each other that helps us through personal and professional challenges.”
The next Circle begins October 19, 2023* running through March 14, 2024. The final application deadline is July 24, 2023.
Applicants are encouraged to first contact Lisa Christie at j.lisa.christie@gmail.com to discuss whether the program is a fit for them. You can learn more about the program at https://www.watershedcoachingllc.com/wlc.
* WLC is confirming a location (ideally North Hero House), so there is a small chance the exact date may move.
