In the center of Fairfield, Vermont, sits a general store built in 1830 that has been lovingly renovated. Stepping inside feels like stepping back in time: the building has been restored but remains largely the way it has always been, a historic gem set among farms and fields. Today, The Brick Store offers a quiet, character-filled coworking space for anyone who needs a dedicated place to get work done.
The Space
Coworking takes place upstairs in a timber frame room with five shared desks, plus an adjoining room for taking a break. The lower level has a kitchen area with a coffee and tea station, along with two restrooms. High-speed fiber internet is available throughout.
The space is a great fit for writers, designers, remote workers, consultants, students, and anyone who works best in a peaceful setting. Calls and meetings are welcome, with headphones encouraged for longer conversations so everyone can stay focused.
Hours and Passes
The coworking space is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seating is flexible and first-come, first-served, so you can choose any open desk.
Day Pass: $25 for one weekday
Week Pass: $75 for five days, Monday through Friday
Both passes include access to the upstairs workspace, shared desks, kitchen, restrooms, and fiber internet.
How It Works
Passes must be purchased in advance. Once you buy your pass, you’ll receive an email with your door code and arrival instructions. Park in the Park & Ride lot, head upstairs, and settle in at any available desk.
